We are proud to report that we have qualified for the Maryland Green Registry. This program from the Maryland Department of the Environment supports and promotes companies with strong sustainability practices. Our practices include a wide range of activities. Our actions include but aren’t limited to such tasks as proper handling of chemicals; recycling mounds of electronics, metal, paper and more; finding ways to give countless objects new lives even when we can’t sell them, and they can’t be donated – like taking bikes that need a little work to a charity that repairs them and gives them to people in need. We are getting more creative with upcycling, too. We recently turned a pair of no-longer-seaworthy boats into raised bed gardens, sparing two boats from an eternity in a landfill.
