After 34 years in the same Laurel home, Diana was ready to begin a new chapter of her life in the Maryland countryside. First, though, she had to face everything involved in leaving one house and settling into another.
She didn’t simply need a moving company. Diana needed help deciding what would go to her new home, what could be sold, what should be donated and what had to be removed. Hiring and coordinating separate movers, auction houses, charities and cleanout crews would have made an already emotional transition even more stressful.

Before moving a single box, we marked every item according to its destination: Diana’s new house in Keymar, an auction house, a charity or disposal. That system allowed our team to work efficiently without requiring Diana to direct every trip through the house.
While one part of the crew packed and loaded everything she wanted to keep, other team members prepared sellable items for auction—including a pair of fantastic vintage pedal cars. Usable household goods were set aside for donation. We removed everything else and left the Laurel house completely empty.
Then we headed to Keymar.
Our work didn’t end when the moving truck arrived. We unloaded and unpacked Diana’s belongings, reassembled furniture and helped her begin arranging the kitchen. We also carefully transported and reassembled a grandfather clock, packing its individual components and keeping the clock upright throughout the move.
By late afternoon, Diana was sitting in her new home surrounded by her own belongings.
“I’m feeling tired, but relieved and amazed at how smoothly the move went. It was over and beyond what I thought was going to happen.”
Her daughter, Lauren, appreciated not having to coordinate multiple companies or make repeated trips to donation centers and the dump. Instead, she said, “All I had to do was show up, sit in the kitchen, have a beverage with my mom and watch as you all just rocked it out.”
