Estate Sales

Worried about a pending move to a smaller home and need to part with an entire household full of items? Stressed about suddenly dealing with a family member’s home and prized possessions? Let Orion’s Attic host an estate sale for you. Our estate sales serve residents throughout the greater Washington region and beyond. We do all the work – researching and pricing your treasures, staging your home for the event and conducting the sale itself. You simply return home and pick up your stack of cash.

House Buy-Outs

Got stuff to sell? Wondering what to do with a home, attic, or storage locker full of things sitting there collecting dust? Got a particular collection of items you would like to sell quickly? From genuine autographs to Zippo lighters, we can handle it all.

Consignment

If an estate sale or buy-out isn't a good fit, consignment might be. We work with a limited number of clients to consign items. We charge a commission plus a removal/transportation fee if the items require use of our truck.

Clean-outs/Junk Removal

Sometimes the contents of a home may be too far gone to be sold. Owners and estate executors simply need their properties emptied. Our junk removal services spring into action and leave you with an empty home that’s ready to be renovated, sold or demolished. Our skill at finding salvageable items that can be sold or donated often helps off-set the removal costs, making us an extremely attractive option for people with clutter-filled homes or buildings.

Donations and Nonprofit Fundraisers

Individuals often have items that aren't quite right for sale but would be greatly appreciated by nonprofit organizations. We can sometimes help facilitate donations of such items to great charities like A Wider Circle by dropping them off on our way out of your home. We also host Upscale Yard Sales for a very limited number of nonprofit organizations such as Pyramid Atlantic Art Center. These events provide a great new way for organizations to activate volunteers, raise money and publicize their great work.
